Robert A. Hauser, MD, MBA, is director of the USF Health Byrd Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center, a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, and professor of neurology, molecular pharmacology, and physiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.Dr. Hauser earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and his MBA at University of South Florida. He was chief resident in neurology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, and he completed a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Hauser is a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Exploratory Trials in Parkinson's Disease Steering Committee. He has previously been on the Executive Committee of the Parkinson Study Group and chaired the American Academy of Neurology Section on Interventional Neurology. He has served as a national/international principle investigator and on the steering committee of multiple sponsored studies. Dr. Hauser's active research history and extensive experience focuses on Parkinson's disease and clinical trial development and execution. His work has been published in many peer-reviewed publications, including Lancet Neurology, JAMA Neurology, and Movement Disorders.

Kelly Tehan, PA-C, graduated from University of Florida College of Medicine with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and is a physician assistant at USF Health Byrd Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center in Tampa, Florida.Ms. Tehan currently sees Parkinson's disease (PD), parkinsonism, restless leg, and multiple system atrophy patients. She has an active clinical trial history and is a sub-Investigator on all of the clinical trials at the center. Ms. Tehan is involved in local PD support groups and community education. She hosts PD101 in collaboration with Tampa General Hospital, a quarterly informational seminar for patients and caregivers. She routinely presents at local support groups on PD clinical research and new therapies in PD.
